UTEP School of Pharmacy

[♫♫♫] Here at the School of Pharmacy, we are dedicated to providing our students with rich learning experiences that enhance their professional and their personal skills. One of the ways that we do this is through a research experience we call the Capstone Project. The goal of the Capstone Project is to connect didactic learning with a high impact research experience. Over the course of four semesters, this innovative course will teach students about the importance of ethics and rigor in research, as well as how to critically review literature, develop interesting hypotheses, identify appropriate research methods, and properly collect and analyze data. Importantly, at the end of their projects, the students will have an opportunity to present the poster of their findings at a UTEP research symposium. Students work closely with faculty at The School of Pharmacy and become actively engaged in real-world research experiences that teach them about teamwork, problem solving, communication, and social responsibility. The Capstone Project is just one of many exciting learning experiences that give our students that UTEP Edge and really prepare them for tomorrow’s challenging, innovative and diverse work environment. Please, feel free to browse the videos below to learn more about the specific research interests of our faculty. [♫♫♫]
